In support of the public indictment by the prosecutors of the Galician district prosecutor’s office of the city of Lviv, a court verdict found a 32-year-old resident of Khmelnytskyi guilty of illegal acquisition and storage for the purpose of sale and illegal sale of psychotropic substances and especially dangerous psychotropic substances by prior conspiracy by a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The court sentenced him to 6 years and 1 month of imprisonment. Prosecutors proved in court that in September 2021, in Lviv, the accused in a previous conspiracy in a group with other persons, the materials regarding which are allocated to a separate proceeding, illegally stored and subsequently sold psychotropic substances, by laying them in various places of the city. After that, they photographed the location of the bookmarks and sent these photos along with the coordinates of the place to buyers, for which they received a monetary reward.
