Prosecutors of the Frankiv District Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Lviv sent an indictment to the court against a 28-year-old native of Lviv Oblast on the facts of illegal acquisition, manufacture and storage of equipment intended for the manufacture of narcotics, organization of a place for the illegal production of narcotics, illegal manufacture and storage for the purpose of selling particularly dangerous narcotic drugs, committed repeatedly (Part 3 of Article 313, Part 2 of Article 317, Part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
It was established that the accused, at his place of residence, set up a homemade laboratory to create an artificial microclimate for the serial cultivation of hemp and the production of the particularly dangerous narcotic drug cannabis.
During the search of the man’s home, hemp and cannabis were also discovered and seized, part of which was packaged for further distribution.
The pre-trial investigation was carried out by the investigators of the JI Police Department No. 2 of the Lviv District Police Department No. 2 of the National Police Department in the Lviv region under the operational support of the Department of Combating Narcotic Crime in the Lviv Region of the Department of Combating Narcotic Crime of the National Police of Ukraine.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
