Following a public prosecution by prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the Ukrainian citizen was convicted of high treason (part 1 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
She was sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Prosecutors proved in court that in 2015, the accused voluntarily took up the position of a judge in one of the interdistrict courts of Donetsk.
The woman administered justice on behalf of the illegal state entity “DNR”, having sworn allegiance. In particular, she unlawfully made court decisions in civil, criminal and commercial cases.
It should be noted that in one of the pseudo-trials, the official found a Ukrainian citizen guilty of espionage. The latter was sentenced to 10 years in prison with a suspended sentence until her child reaches the age of 14.
Thus, she assisted the Russian Federation and its representatives in conducting subversive activities against Ukraine.
The data on the “judge” was entered into the Myrotvorets database as a member of the DNR terrorist organization.
The court verdict comes into force after the expiration of the appeal period.
The special pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings was conducted by the SBU Office in Lviv region.
