Prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office sentenced a citizen of Ukraine for maintaining a public accusation. She was found guilty of encroaching on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, as well as justifying, recognizing as legitimate, denying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, glorifying its participants (Part 1 of Article 110, Part 2 of Article 110, Part 2 of Article 436-2 , Part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
She was sentenced to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Prosecutors proved in court that a native of the Russian Federation used her own account on the banned Odnoklassniki social network to post materials in which she called for changes to the borders of the territory of Ukraine.
Also, in the distributed content, she justified the criminal actions of the occupiers, recognized the armed invasion of the Russian Federation as legitimate.
In addition, the defendant denied the temporary occupation of Crimea. Ideologically substantiated the existence of self-proclaimed republics.
In the widespread posts, the woman also praised Putin and Russia, and called the residents of Ukraine “unfortunate cannibals.”
A special pre-trial investigation was carried out by the investigators of the SBU Office in the Lviv region.
