Youth Poisoned During Fire in Pavlov

In the village of Pavlov, located in the Sheptytsky district, a fire broke out in a flat on the fourth floor of a five-storey building. The incident occurred on 12 May at 14:29.

The cause of the fire was the ignition of an electric cable measuring 5 linear metres. Before the arrival of the rescuers, local residents attempted to extinguish the fire themselves.

As a result of this incident, a boy born in 2010 suffered mild poisoning from combustion products and was hospitalised.

The rescuers quickly responded to the call, localising the fire at 14:52 and fully extinguishing it at 14:55.

The emergency services emphasise: in the event of a fire, immediately call the rescuers on 101 and evacuate the premises to avoid endangering yourself.
