In the Lviv region over the past day, 26 fires were recorded, 18 of them in ecosystems. During the firefighting operations, rescuers saved 4 people, including one child, as well as 5 buildings, 5 kiosks and a car.
According to available information, the main cause of the fires remains human carelessness. Rescuers urge people not to burn dry grass and to strictly observe fire safety rules.
The State Emergency Service emphasises that preventing the outbreak of fire is much easier than dealing with its consequences, so residents are asked to take care of themselves and not to provoke fires.
