During the past day, firefighters from the Lviv Region tackled 23 fires, including 12 that occurred in ecosystems. During these incidents, specialists rescued seven individuals and prevented the destruction of three buildings by the flames.
Regrettably, one person died in one of the fires. The main cause of the fires remains human negligence. It is important to adhere to fire safety rules, particularly refraining from burning dry grass.
The State Emergency Service emphasises that their service operates round the clock, but everyone’s safety relies on personal caution. We urge everyone to be alert and take care of themselves.
