The police of the Lviv Region urges you to be careful, strictly follow the requirements of the Traffic Rules, do not exceed the speed limit and follow the road conditions. Take care of life and health – your own and those around you.
So, on September 28, around 8:00 p.m., on the Yavoriv-Hrushiv highway in the village of Nagachiv, Yavoriv district, a collision occurred between an Opel car driven by a 46-year-old resident of one of the villages of the district and a Suzuki JS500E motorcycle driven by a 17-year-old resident Yavorova As a result of the accident, the two-wheeler driver and his passenger, a 17-year-old local resident, were injured and taken to the hospital.
Another traffic accident occurred around 2:50 p.m. in the village of Pidbirtsi, Lviv district. As previously established by law enforcement officers, a collision occurred between a Chevrolet Epica car driven by a 65-year-old resident of Lviv and a Yamaha FJR 1300 motorcycle driven by a 38-year-old resident of Khmelnytskyi. As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist was injured and hospitalized.
Based on these facts, investigators of the territorial units of the police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
