So, on November 21, around 2:30 p.m., at the intersection of Pekarska and Mechnikova streets in Lviv, the driver of a Kia Soul car, a 60-year-old man from Lviv, hit a 29-year-old local woman. As a result of the accident, the woman was injured and taken to the hospital.

Another traffic accident occurred around 4:50 p.m. on General Chuprinka Street. As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the Dacia car, a 48-year-old man from Lviv, hit a pedestrian, an 82-year-old local woman. As a result of the accident, an elderly woman was injured and taken to the hospital.

Based on these facts, the investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
