Prosecutors proved in court that in one of the villages of the Sambir region, the enterprise illegally plowed pasture. The defendant previously entered into a lease agreement for a plot of land with a total area of 50 hectares, with the purpose of being a hayfield. The cost of rent was only about UAH 22,000/month, which is three times less than the rent for arable land.
After that, the society plowed the land and planted crops. In the future, he neglected the plot, did not properly care for it and did not cultivate it.
At the same time, the defendant did not change the purpose of the land plot and did not conclude a new contract. Accordingly, he continued to pay much less rent to the local budget.
The prosecutors, having discovered the violation, appealed to the court with the corresponding lawsuit, which was fully satisfied.
The company filed an appeal to overturn the court’s decision, but the appellate court agreed with the arguments of the regional prosecutors and dismissed the defense’s appeal.
Therefore, the prosecutors succeeded in terminating the land lease agreement and returning the land plots to the territorial community.
