Over the past day, two motorcyclists were injured in Lviv region as a result of an accident – police are establishing circumstances
Attention motorcyclists! Law enforcement officers urge you to be careful on the roads. Follow the requirements of the Traffic Rules, in particular the rules of overtaking. Do not exceed the speed limit, manoeuvre carefully and always wear motorcycle helmets. There is only one life!
On 30 August, an 18-year-old local resident lost control of his Minsk motorcycle on the bridge on Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street in Khodoriv and collided with the metal structure of the bridge. As a result of the accident, he was seriously injured and is currently in intensive care.
On the same day, in a village in Chervonohrad district, a 27-year-old resident of the district lost control of his Viper motorcycle, drove off the roadway and collided with a public transport stop. As in the previous case, the driver of the two-wheeler was seriously injured and is now in intensive care.
The police are establishing the circumstances of the accident, the issue of legal classification of the events is being resolved.
