Prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office have sent to court an indictment against a 42-year-old resident of Truskavets on the fact of premeditated murder (Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigation established that in June 2024 in Truskavets, the accused killed his friend.
Previously, that evening, a 46-year-old acquaintance came to visit the man. Subsequently, a sudden conflict arose between them. During the dispute, the defendant struck the victim numerous times with his hands and feet. He died on the spot from his serious injuries and traumatic shock.
The accused is currently in custody.
The pre-trial investigation was carried out by investigators of the Main Department of the National Police in Lviv region.
Note: In accordance with Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until his or her guilt is proved by law and established by a court verdict of guilty.
