Under the procedural guidance of the Stryi district prosecutor’s office, a 60-year-old woman was charged with intentional homicide (Part 1, Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, a local resident killed her mother in Morshyn.
The reason for the murder was the suspect’s reluctance to take care of her sick bedridden mother.
The female figure was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine.
Investigations are ongoing. A petition was sent to the court to elect the detainee as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the Stryi district police department of the Main Department of the National Police in the Lviv region.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
