Under the procedural leadership of the Sambir district prosecutor’s office, a 37-year-old resident of Turka was exposed and informed of the suspicion of illegal acquisition, storage and sale of narcotic drugs, committed repeatedly (Part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, the suspect sold marijuana to local residents in Turka. “Clients” agreed on a purchase over the phone, after which they came to the defendant’s home, where they picked up the “goods”.
During the searches, rolls of foil with a substance of plant origin, electronic scales and other physical evidence were discovered and seized from the person involved.
At the prosecutor’s request, the suspect was remanded in custody.
Investigative actions are ongoing, the issue of appointing a number of examinations is being resolved.
The pre-trial investigation is carried out by the investigators of the Sambir RVP of the State Government of the NP.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
