The TOR officers arrested a man suspected of murdering a neighbor.
Last evening, on Stryiska Street, a woman received stab wounds to the abdomen. Medics were already providing her assistance.
Inspectors of the tactical-operational response unit and other patrol police crews began searching for the man involved in the incident. The 21-year-old citizen, a neighbor of the woman, was found in a basement. He was hiding on the heating pipes under the ceiling.
He had a knife with him, which, according to him, he washed off the blood with snow. Investigators were working at the scene.
The 41-year-old woman was hospitalized in a serious condition. Unfortunately, she died from her injuries.
The man was detained according to Article 208 (Detention by an authorized official) of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He faces charges under Part 1 of Article 115 (Murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
