The Commercial Court of the Lviv Region satisfied the lawsuit of the head of the Frankiv District Prosecutor’s Office of the city of Lviv to declare illegal the decision of the village council regarding the transfer of land plots worth over UAH 844 million to private ownership.
It was established that in 2020, on the eve of the termination of the powers of the Ryasne-Ruska village council, the latter illegally transferred the land, located in one of the villages of the Lviv territorial community, to garage-building corporate companies as private property free of charge.
The prosecutor’s office appealed to the court with a claim to invalidate the decision of the village council, cancel the state registration and return the land plot with a total area of almost 21.5 hectares to communal ownership.
After the specified court decision enters into legal force, the district prosecutor’s office will take measures for its actual implementation.
