Under the procedural leadership of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, an indictment against a citizen of Ukraine was sent to court on the facts of treason and justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants (part 2 of article 111, part 2, 3 of article 436 -2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigation established that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, the accused maintained contact with representatives of the aggressor country with the help of various messengers, where he received tasks from them.
In particular, the man gave them data on the location of strategically important objects, including military units and critical infrastructure objects. In the future, he sent photos of the places where rockets were hit and the consequences of shelling in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In addition, the person involved repeatedly exchanged text messages through messengers, in which he justified and denied the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
In particular, about the fact that the Zaporizhzhia region, after its complete liberation from Ukrainian nationalists, will take a course to join Russia.
The pre-trial investigation was carried out by the investigators of the SBU Office in the Lviv region.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
