Yavoriv District Prosecutor’s Office established that in 2019, the Lviv Regional State Administration leased a land plot with a lake, covering nearly 106 hectares, to a business entity. This concerns an area on the outskirts of Yavoriv valued at 3 million UAH.
Meanwhile, the lessee had long violated the contract terms and incurred a debt on rent payments exceeding 500 thousand UAH. Such an infringement of state interests prompted prosecutors to intervene.
Yavoriv District Prosecutor’s Office filed a lawsuit for the termination of the lease agreement, the return of the land plot to the local community, and the recovery of the debt. The Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office ensured participation in the case proceedings.
The Lviv Region Economic Court’s decision fully satisfied the prosecutor’s claim. Once the decision comes into legal force, the prosecutor’s office will ensure its actual enforcement.
