In the village of Derevach, Lviv district, a fire broke out on 2nd May at 14:45 in a wooden farm building covered with slate. By the time the rescuers arrived, the fire had completely engulfed the building.
During the fire, the owner of the building, a woman born in 1979, suffered burns to her left forearm. Rescuers provided her with first aid and handed her over to medical professionals.
The fire was localised by 15:15 and fully extinguished by 15:38. The Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Lviv region urges everyone to adhere to fire safety rules and to promptly contact the emergency service ‘101’ in case of danger.
