In the Lviv region, a parking violation involving an Audi A4 was discovered at night near the railway station. There was no one inside the vehicle. A 46-year-old woman approached the officers, claiming that she was the driver. However, the police had doubts about this assertion. This was reported by the Lviv Police.
After collaboration with the Criminal Analysis Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv Region, it was revealed that the vehicle was being driven by a 24-year-old man who had been deprived of his driving licence for one year by court order. Despite this, he decided to drive, disregarding the court’s decision.
An investigative team was called to the scene. During the preparation of administrative documents, the woman offered the police officers 100 euros to avoid punishment for her son-in-law. She ignored the warning about the criminal liability for such an offer.
After the protocol was drawn up and the decision issued, the law enforcement officers handed both the woman and her son-in-law over to the investigators. The woman faces criminal liability for attempting to bribe a police officer, while the man faces charges for failing to comply with the court’s decision.
