Prosecutors of the Chervonograd District Prosecutor’s Office completed the pre-trial investigation and sent an indictment to the court against a 37-year-old resident of Sokal on the facts of illegal acquisition, storage and sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances (Part 1, 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigation established that the accused, directly at his place of residence, established a scheme for the sale of methadone and amphetamine.
He accepted the order by phone, and at the same time agreed on the time of the meeting.
“Clients” were mostly residents of Chervonohrad district.
In January 2023, after another documented sale of “amphetamine”, the latter was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine.
According to the results of searches conducted at the place of residence of the suspect, drugs, money from the sale of prohibited substances and other physical evidence were found and seized.
The man is currently in custody.
The pre-trial investigation in the specified criminal proceedings was carried out by the investigators of the Chervonograd RVP of the State Government of the NP in the Lviv region.
Note: in accordance with Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subject to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
