On 06 October, meteorologists are warning of an extreme fire danger of class 5. In such conditions, even minor sources of ignition can cause dry vegetation to catch fire.
The weather conditions will contribute to a high likelihood of fires starting and spreading rapidly in ecosystems where there is open flame. Residents are urged to refrain from burning grass and lighting campfires in forests and near woodland areas.
