On 7 September, an increased fire risk is forecast for the Lviv region. According to meteorologists, a moderate level (class 3) is expected in most districts, with a high level in places (class 4), and in the city of Rava-Ruska an extreme level (class 5) of fire danger is possible.
Such weather conditions create an increased likelihood of the outbreak and rapid spread of fires in ecosystems where sources of ignition are present, particularly open flames. Residents and visitors to the region are advised to refrain from burning dry vegetation, lighting campfires in forests and near fields, and to keep a close watch for any signs of smoke.
