For 21 September, forecasters are warning of hazardous meteorological conditions across Lviv region, including the city of Lviv. Strengthening north-westerly winds and thunderstorms are forecast throughout the day.
According to meteorologists, gusts of north-westerly wind of 15–20 m/s are expected across Lviv region. Thunderstorms are possible in places in the morning and during the day. In Lviv itself, wind gusts of 15–20 m/s and a thunderstorm are also forecast in the morning and daytime hours.
For this period, a Level I weather hazard (yellow) has been issued. Residents are urged to exercise caution when outdoors and to avoid staying close to trees, advertising structures and power lines during strong winds and thunderstorms.
