On 28 August, a high (4th class) and extreme (5th class) level of fire danger is forecast for most of the territory. In the mountainous areas, a moderate (3rd class) level is expected.
Under such weather conditions, the likelihood of fires starting and spreading rapidly in ecosystems increases significantly in the presence of ignition sources, particularly open flames. Residents and visitors to the region are advised to minimise the use of open fire in natural areas and to follow fire safety rules.
