On 29 September 2026, the gas supply to consumers of all categories in the town of Zhovkva and a number of surrounding villages will be temporarily cut off. This was reported by the Lviv branch of LLC “Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine”.
The gas supply from 08:00 will be shut off in Zhovkva, in particular on V. Velykoho Street, 20, I. Franka Street, Ya. Mudroho Street, Ye. Konovaltsia Street, as well as in the villages of Hlynsk, Matsoshyn, Stara Skvariava, Nova Skvariava, Volia-Vysotska, Zavady, Mokrotyn, V’iazova, Vidrodzhennia, Terniv and Soposhyn.
The company notes that the works will be carried out due to the replacement of the GRP cabinet on O. Kobylianskoi Street in Zhovkva and the reconnection of gas pipelines across the M-09 motorway. The restoration of gas supply is expected to begin after 17:00 the same day, gradually, as the repair works are completed.
Residents are asked in advance to turn off the valves in front of gas appliances and to be particularly careful when the gas supply is restored.
