For 31 August, meteorologists are warning of an elevated level of fire danger. In most of the area, a high fire danger of the 4th class is expected, while in the north of the region an extreme fire danger of the 5th class is forecast.
Such weather conditions create a significant risk of fires breaking out and spreading rapidly through ecosystems in the presence of ignition sources, particularly open flames. Residents and visitors to the region are advised to refrain from burning dry vegetation, lighting campfires in forests and near fields, and to keep a close watch for any signs of smoke.
