As of 08:00 on 10 August 2026, most rivers in Lviv region continued to experience falling water levels, with a drop over the past 24 hours ranging from 1 to 11 cm.
The exceptions were the Dniester on the Rozdil – Zhuravno section and the lower reaches of the Strviazh River near the village of Luky. Here, due to the passage of a minor flood wave, rises in water levels of 12–22 cm were recorded.
On certain watercourses in the region, water levels are approaching the minimum multi-year values for the entire observation period, indicating a stable summer low-water regime.
Water temperature in the mountain tributaries of the Dniester ranged between 12–19°, while on the rest of the region’s rivers it was 19–25°.
According to the hydrological advisory, over the next 24 hours most rivers in Lviv region are expected to maintain a largely unchanged summer low-water regime, with minor fluctuations in water levels, predominantly downward.
