For 24 July, predominantly low (class 2) and moderate (class 3) levels of fire danger are forecast for the territory of Lviv region. In the north of the region, in some areas no fire danger is expected (class 1), while in places high (class 4) and extreme (class 5) fire danger is possible.
Meteorological conditions will generally contribute to a low probability of the occurrence and spread of fires in ecosystems, but where there are sources of open flame, the risk of ignition remains.
Separately, it is warned that on 24 July, in some parts of Lviv region, high (class 4) and extreme (class 5) levels of fire danger are possible. Residents and visitors to the region are urged to refrain from burning dry vegetation and from careless use of fire in open areas.
