Meteorologists warn that on 18 July a predominantly high fire danger of the fourth class is expected across most of the territory. In some areas, the level of risk will rise to an extreme, fifth class.
In some regions, a moderate, third-degree fire danger is forecast, while in mountainous areas a low, second class will persist. Under such weather conditions, the likelihood of fires starting and rapidly spreading in ecosystems increases significantly in the presence of open flames.
Rescuers urge people to refrain from burning dry vegetation, not to light campfires in forests or open areas, and to strictly observe fire safety rules in natural environments.
