For 18 August, forecasters predict varying levels of fire danger: from none (class 1) to, in places, moderate (class 3), high (class 4) and extreme (class 5).
Under such weather conditions, the likelihood of fires starting and spreading rapidly in ecosystems increases in the presence of ignition sources, particularly open flames. Residents are advised to refrain from burning dry vegetation and to be especially careful with fire in open areas.
