Meteorologists warn that on 19 August a low fire danger level of class two is expected across most of the area. In the mountain regions, there is no fire danger and the situation corresponds to class one.
At the same time, in the north of the area, an extreme fire danger of class five will persist in places. Under such conditions, even minor ignition sources, including open flames, may lead to the outbreak and rapid spread of fires in ecosystems.
Rescue services urge people to refrain from burning dry vegetation, lighting campfires in forests and near fields, and to keep a close watch for any signs of smoke.
