For 21 August, forecasters predict predominantly a moderate level of fire danger (class 3). In the central part of the area, a low level (class 2) is expected in places, while in some northern areas, an extreme fire danger (class 5) will persist.
Under such weather conditions, the likelihood of fires starting and spreading rapidly in ecosystems increases in the presence of ignition sources, particularly open flames. Residents are advised to refrain from burning dry vegetation, lighting campfires in forests and near fields, and to keep a close watch for any signs of smoke.
