For 29 October, meteorologists forecast predominantly no fire danger (class 1), and in some areas low fire danger (class 2). This means that the overall risk of fires breaking out in natural ecosystems will be low.
Under such weather conditions, the likelihood of fires starting and spreading in forests, meadows or other open areas remains low; however, if sources of ignition are present, particularly open flames, fires are still possible.
Specialists remind the public that even with a favourable forecast, it is important to follow fire safety rules: do not light campfires in undesignated places, do not burn dry vegetation, and keep a close eye on any use of open fire in the countryside.
