For 6 September, forecasters predict elevated fire danger in certain districts. In most areas, a moderate level is expected — 3rd class fire danger.
In the town of Mostyska, a high level of fire danger is forecast — 4th class, while in the town of Rava-Ruska an extreme level has been declared — 5th class.
Under such weather conditions, the likelihood of fires starting and spreading rapidly in ecosystems increases significantly in the presence of ignition sources, particularly open flames. Residents and visitors of these areas are advised to refrain from burning dry vegetation and from lighting campfires in forests and near fields.
