Forecasters warn that on 9 August the region will see varying levels of fire danger: from low (class 2) to moderate (class 3), and in some areas extreme (class 5).
Such weather conditions significantly increase the risk of fires starting and spreading rapidly in natural ecosystems where there are sources of ignition, particularly open flames.
Residents and visitors to the region are advised to refrain from lighting campfires, burning dry vegetation or otherwise handling fire carelessly in open areas.
