There is currently significant congestion of vehicles leaving Ukraine at the Ukrainian-Polish border within Lviv region. Travellers are advised to take this into account when planning their journeys.
According to border guards, queues for leaving Ukraine are observed at the following border crossing points:
- “Rava-Ruska” – around 10 cars;
- “Hrushiv” – around 20 cars;
- “Krakivets” – approximately 70 cars and 5 buses;
- “Shehyni” – around 55 cars.
For entering Ukraine, congestion is recorded at the “Hrushiv” crossing point (4 buses), at the “Krakivets” crossing point (around 30 cars), and at the “Shehyni” crossing point (around 25 cars.
At the same time, the “Uhryniv”, “Smilnytsia” and “Nyzhankovychi” crossing points remain relatively uncongested for leaving Ukraine.
To reduce waiting times before the border, travellers are recommended, where possible, to choose less busy crossing points, and also to plan their border crossing for early morning or late evening hours.
