On Wednesday, 12 August, the municipal utility company “Drohobychvodokanal” will carry out repair works on the Uriizh–Drohobych trunk water main and on specific sections within the city. As a result, water supply will be cut off for 24 hours in part of Drohobych and neighbouring settlements.
The water will be turned off from 05:00 to 24:00 on the following streets of Drohobych: Sambirska, P. Sahaidachnoho, Lesi Ukrainky, I. Franka, T. Shevchenka (even numbers), Horishnia Brama, Zavizhna, Zvarytska, M. Kotsiubynskoho, Sichovykh Striltsiv, 22 Sichnia, S. Nalyvaika, A. Sheptytskoho, and the adjoining streets.
The Nova Voloshcha and Hyriivka neighbourhoods will also be left without water, as well as the villages of Nahujevychi, Uniatychi, Lishnia and Uriizh.
Residents are advised to store an adequate supply of water in advance for the duration of the repair works.
