During the night of 6 to 7 October, the municipal utility “Drohobychvodokanal” will carry out repair work on the trunk water main near the village of Modrychi, as a result of which the water supply will be temporarily cut off in certain districts of Drohobych, Stebnyk and nearby villages.
According to the utility’s announcement, water will be unavailable from 23:00 on 6 October until 20:00 on 7 October. In Drohobych, the shut-off will affect houses on Truskavetska Street Nos. 91, 97, 107, 111, 111/1, as well as the Mlynky neighbourhood.
In Stebnyk, Nova, Bohdana Lepkoho, Mykoly Starytskoho, Hirkinia, and Mykoly Hoholia Streets (house No. 84) will be left without water supply. Water supply will also be cut off in the villages of Modrychi and Stanylia on Ivana Franka Street and Zelenyi Lane.
The municipal utility is asking residents of the specified streets and localities to stock up on water in advance as needed, and apologises for the temporary inconvenience caused by the ongoing repair work on the trunk water main.
