In the Krasne community, assistance is being paid to those affected by the Chornobyl disaster

In the Krasne territorial community of Zolochiv district in Lviv region, a one-off cash payment has been allocated for residents affected by the accident at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant who are classified in categories 1, 2 or 3. The assistance is provided under the Comprehensive Programme for Social Protection of the Population of the Krasne Community for 2026–2027.

The amount of the payment has been set according to the category of those affected: UAH 5,000 will be paid to persons in category 1, UAH 3,500 to persons in category 2, and UAH 2,500 to persons in category 3.

Those eligible for this assistance are citizens who have the status of persons affected by the Chornobyl disaster in categories 1, 2 or 3, and who are registered or actually reside within the territory of the Krasne territorial community.

To receive the one-off payment, applicants must contact the Social Protection Department of the Krasne Settlement Council and submit a set of documents, which includes:

  • an application;
  • a copy of the citizen of Ukraine passport or ID card with an extract from the territorial community register;
  • a copy of the taxpayer identification card registration number (if available);
  • an extract from the territorial community register;
  • bank account details (IBAN);
  • a copy of the certificate of a person affected by the Chornobyl disaster, indicating the relevant category;
  • for internally displaced persons – a copy of the IDP registration certificate;
  • if required – a document confirming actual residence within the community.

Documents will be accepted until 30 November 2026. For further information, residents are advised to contact the Social Protection Department of the Krasne Settlement Council.
