In Lviv, emergency repairs will be carried out on the cobblestones on Havryshkevycha Street, and as a result the street will be closed to private traffic for several days.
According to the Halytskyi District Administration, between 13–16 August the municipal enterprise “Road Maintenance Company of the Halytskyi District” will relay the cobbled surface on the section from Krakivska Street to Drukarska Street. While the works are under way, this stretch will be completely closed to traffic.
Public transport does not run along Havryshkevycha Street, so the restrictions will apply only to private cars. A diversion around the closed part of the street will be arranged via Honty Street.
Drivers of private vehicles are advised to take the closure into account in advance when planning trips to the city centre and, where possible, to choose alternative routes.
