In Stryi, on Independence Square, a site is being prepared for the installation of a new public toilet that will be accessible to people with disabilities.
According to Stryi City Council, the works are being carried out under a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Public Union “All-Ukrainian Association of Organisations in the Interests of Persons with Disabilities ‘LIGA SYLNYKH'”.
The modular toilet will be manufactured and assembled using donor funds. Its installation is scheduled for late October – early November 2026.
The project is being implemented in partnership with the PU “Liga Sylnykh” with the support of the international humanitarian organisation Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe under the SAFE programme (Support and Accessibility for Everyone — support and accessibility for all).
