The Government has launched a single information website, eOpora, which brings together national and regional support programmes, as well as practical advice on preparing for the winter of 2026/27.
The resource contains information on subsidies and concessions for paying housing and utility bills, programmes to support energy independence in housing, types of assistance for specific groups of the population, as well as concessional loans for energy equipment for businesses.
A separate section provides recommendations on connecting to an energy-independent internet service, which may be particularly relevant in the event of possible power outages in winter.
To select the right programme, users are invited to open the “Winter support” section, choose their category, define their needs and specify their region. The system will then display the available support options and accompanying recommendations.
