Almost 20 million hryvnias were directed from the regional budget to increase the energy efficiency of territorial communities of Lviv Oblast.
By order of the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration dated 05/09/2023 No. 316/0/5-23, the VA approved a list of projects of territorial communities of the Lviv Region, where measures to increase energy efficiency will be implemented this year. They are implemented within the framework of the “Comprehensive Program for Increasing Energy Efficiency, Energy Saving and Development of Renewable Energy in the Lviv Region for 2021-2025”.
The list includes 13 projects. 80% of the estimated cost of the projects will be reimbursed to five communities from the regional budget, 60% to four communities, and 40% to four communities. The maximum amount of funds from the regional budget for the implementation of one project is 1.5 million hryvnias.
Reconstruction and major repairs of external heating networks, internal heating systems, replacement of boilers with energy-efficient solid fuel boilers, installation of electric boilers and an individual heating unit will be carried out at the facilities.
The total estimated cost of the projects is 47.974 million hryvnias, of which almost 19 million hryvnias will be financed from the regional budget.
As of May 1, territorial communities submitted a total of 22 applications for participation in the Program.
It should be noted that the above-mentioned decree introduced changes to the Comprehensive Program for Increasing Energy Efficiency, Energy Saving and Development of Renewable Energy in the Lviv Region for 2021-2025, in particular to the Procedure for Implementing Measures to Increase Energy Efficiency at Budgetary Objects, which provide that in the presence of additional financial resources in the regional budget for 2023, the remaining applications of territorial communities that were received by May 1 will be included in the list of projects of territorial communities of Lviv region, where in 2023 measures to increase energy efficiency will be implemented within the framework of the Program.
