The Department of Finance of the Lviv Oblast continues to ensure timely financing from the regional budget of the identified needs of institutions and organizations of regional subordination, the implementation of regional programs and events.
Weekly funding for the period from November 6 to 10 was 215.7 million hryvnias.
In particular, the funds were directed to:
– payment of wages – UAH 69 million;
– payment of scholarships – UAH 1.7 million;
– payment of preferential pensions and benefits – UAH 1.4 million;
– purchase of medicines and food products – UAH 6 million;
– payment of communal services – UAH 1.9 million;
– economic expenses of budgetary institutions – UAH 6.9 million;
– other regional target programs – 13.6 million hryvnias.
Among the most important directions, it is also worth highlighting: financing of the “Safe Lviv Region” program – UAH 51.7 million; implementation of priority infrastructural objects – UAH 5.4 million (overhaul of educational institutions’ dormitories for accommodation and residence of internally displaced persons, construction and reconstruction of objects of strategic importance for the region); development of education in Lviv Oblast – UAH 1.4 million; increase of energy efficiency, energy saving and development of renewable energy – 1.3 million hryvnias; support of ATO participants (OOC) and their families, ATO volunteer fighters, as well as families of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred – UAH 1.3 million; social support for certain categories of citizens and internally displaced persons – 0.3 million hryvnias.
For compensation for purchased housing for the families of Revolution of Dignity participants, a subvention from the state budget was transferred to local budgets – UAH 1.9 million; provision of shelter for women and children who suffered from domestic violence – 0.5 million hryvnias.
Funds were also allocated for carrying out capital and current repairs, reconstruction and construction of medical and educational institutions, boarding houses in the sphere of social protection of the population and other critical infrastructure objects – UAH 21 million; maintenance and development of road infrastructure – UAH 30.4 million (at the expense of subventions from the state budget, budgets of territorial communities and other sources).
