Charity concerts and fairs with the participation of community homes take place almost every Sunday.
This Sunday, August 13, the exemplary children’s choir “Axios” of the People’s House of the Zhovtanetsi village (leader Maria Gunka) sang the Liturgy in the Church of the Exaltation of the Honest and Life-giving Cross of the OCU of the village of Velike Kolodno, Zhovtanetsi community, Lviv district.
During the Sunday service, 25,000 hryvnias of donations were collected for the Armed Forces
During the Liturgy, special prayers were offered for our army, victory, a just peace for Ukraine and for the entire Ukrainian people.
As early as February of this year, Zhovtanetska TG started charitable activities in their community. Almost every Sunday, charity concerts and fairs take place with the participation of community homes.
In addition to Sunday’s event, the community also talks about several other important ones:
On June 25, the People’s House of the village of Horpyn hosted a charity concert of the People’s Chapel of Bandurists “Lvivians” and a charity fair of goodies from Horpyn housewives (28,063 UAH were collected for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine);
40,500 hryvnias and 30 dollars for the Armed Forces of Ukraine were collected during a charity event in the village of Velike Kolodno of the Zhovtanetsk territorial community on July 2;
29,845 hryvnias and 150 dollars were collected during a charity event in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the village of Remeniv on July 9;
43,000 hryvnias were collected for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a charity concert in the village of Vyriv, July 30;
In general, the community very actively conducts charity events to support the Armed Forces.
All funds are directed to the needs of the military from the Zhovtanets community, collect requests and close them (buy cars, ammunition, night vision devices).
