
Seventy territorial communities in Lviv region met their planned tax revenue targets for the general fund of local budgets for January–May, according to the regional finance department of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
In total, there are 73 territorial communities in the region. The finance department notes that in the Sheptytska and Zolochiv communities the shortfall against the plan is marginal, at less than one per cent.
In the Velykyi Liubin community, according to the department, the planned revenues to the general fund of the budget were underachieved by 16%.
At the same time, compared to the same period last year, all 73 communities in Lviv region increased their tax revenues to the budget.
Across the region as a whole, the five-month revenue plan was exceeded by 883 million UAH, which is 4.8% above the planned figure.
The finance department stresses that stable inflows to local budgets enable communities to implement social, educational, medical and infrastructure projects, as well as to support the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
