The Argentinian athlete is ready to help establish the production of special vehicles for people with disabilities

Argentinian athlete with disabilities Jean Maghi offers his help in creating the production of tricycles – adapted tricycles for people with disabilities in Lviv.

He spoke about this today during a meeting with Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadov. The Jean Maggi Foundation in Argentina is involved in the serial production of tricycles for people with disabilities.

Argentinian athlete Jean Maggi is the first person with a disability to ride an adapted bicycle in the Himalayas, cross the Andes on horseback, set foot on the shores of Antarctica and is currently preparing to fly into space. Today he came to Lviv and met with the mayor of the city. Andriy Sadovy presented the NEZLAMNI ecosystem to the Argentinian, which is being developed in Lviv.

Jean Maghi emphasized the importance of socialization of the wounded after recovery. His Foundation is engaged in the production of adapted transport for children and adults with disabilities. Last year, the first tricycles were handed over to Ukrainians. Now Zhan offers project documentation for the production of tricycles for free in order to start a factory in Lviv.

“I applaud you for what you are doing with prosthetics. I also believe that it is necessary to return people to society after treatment.

In 2022, we sent 20 bicycles from the fund to Ukraine. Another 10 are now waiting in Warsaw. We want to give you the bicycle creation project to have your own factory here. That is why we are here,” said Jean Maghi.

“Bicycles used to be manufactured in Lviv. I think we can do specialized production now. It can become another puzzle of our UNBROKEN ecosystem. And we can do it together. We need the best experience available in the world today to implement such projects in Ukraine. If you become our partners, and we together implement what you already know how to do well, the success will be twice as great,” Andriy Sadovy emphasized.
