In the first half of 2026, more than UAH 2.6 billion in own revenues of budgetary institutions was credited to the special fund of local budgets in Lviv region, which represents 68.2% of the annual plan.
The largest share of these resources – UAH 1.5 billion, or 59.2% of all revenues – was generated from other sources of own income. Grant funds were a significant component here: as of 1 July, more than UAH 0.3 billion in grants had been raised for local budgets in the region, which equals 57.5% of the volume planned for the year.
A further UAH 1.07 billion came from fees for services provided by budgetary institutions, as well as from property rental. This is almost 56% of the annual plan for these items.
Among the territorial communities of the region, institutions of the Lviv territorial community received the largest volumes of own revenues – UAH 1.5 billion. High figures were also recorded in the Brody community – UAH 138.5 million, Stryi – UAH 36.3 million, Mostyska – UAH 31.8 million, Solonka – UAH 31.6 million, the Sokal community – UAH 24.2 million, Drohobych – UAH 23.9 million and Sambir – UAH 22.4 million.
Some communities have already significantly exceeded their annual targets for own revenues. The highest execution rates have been recorded in the budgets of the Skhidnytsia, Solonka, Borynia and Shchyrets communities, as well as the Belz, Biskovychi, Zolochiv, Pidkamin, Obroshyne, Trostianets and Turkiv communities.
Compared with the first half of 2025, the trend is also positive. Last year over the same period, UAH 2.4 billion in own revenues of budgetary institutions was credited to the special fund of local budgets in the region. Of this, UAH 0.8 billion came from fees for services and property rental, and UAH 1.6 billion from other sources of own income. The volume of grants raised then amounted to only UAH 34.6 million, which is almost nine times less than in 2026.
The highest growth rates in own revenues compared with last year were achieved by institutions of the Lviv, Dobrotvir, Stryi, Mostyska, Brody, Solonka, Peremyshliany and Novyi Rozdil communities.
Own revenues remain an important additional financial resource for local budgets in Lviv region. Effective planning and use of these funds gives communities more opportunities to develop education, healthcare, culture, social protection and other sectors, as well as to improve the quality of services for residents of the region.
