
The second delegation of Japanese business visited Lviv as part of the Japan Desk initiative.
This time, representatives of the Japan External Trade Organization and companies specializing in energy-efficient solutions, consulting, and logistics arrived in Lviv. There were also manufacturers of 3D-printed prosthetics and eco-friendly finishing materials. The meeting with the city’s mayor took place in the city council’s session hall.
“Japanese culture inspires me. As you know, Lviv develops good cooperation with Japanese business – we have opened a Japan Desk in Lviv and our city is open to collaborations,”
said Andriy Sadovyi, the mayor of Lviv. Representatives of Japanese business also visited the field of honor at the Lychakiv Cemetery and the UNBROKEN center.
Toshiyuki Shirai, Director of the International Relations Department of the Ministry of Economy of Japan, emphasized the importance of partnership between Ukraine and Japan: “It is a great honor to speak to you today. We highly value our cooperation and want to continue it”.
